Welcome back to This Week In Effect (TWIE) - your weekly update of the latest developments in the Effect community and ecosystem.

• Schema.equivalence: handle non-array and non-record inputs (Improvement)
• Fix DateTime zone check to include zones without “:” (Bug Fix)
• Fix: disallow invalid _tag keys in TaggedEnum.$match handlers (Bug Fix)
• Add Random implementation with fixed values (Feature, next-minor)

Effect AI

• Add Amazon Bedrock AI provider (Feature)
• Fix generated OpenAPI types for Anthropic AI provider (Bug Fix)
• Support disabling tool call resolution in AiLanguageModel (Feature)
• Support extracting tool call results from AiResponse.WithToolCallResults (Feature)

Effect Cluster

• Only register new runners if they are not present in the ShardManager state (Bug Fix)
• Remove dynamic cluster metrics that could cause memory leaks (Bug Fix)

• Simplify VariantSchema Class types (Improvement)

• Load otel attributes from Config in Otlp modules (Feature)
